Holiday hunt
As we enjoy the winter holiday season, some of us are also passing the last few weeks until the always exciting MIT Mystery Hunt. Thomas Snyder is giving us another small hunt to help whet our appetites. Thomas's puzzlemaking style shines through, and the puzzles also sometimes refer to his books (not to worry; Thomas will help you out if you don't have them on you).
And yes, there are prizes; you have a better chance of winning the sooner you submit your final answer. The contest started yesterday, so you'll be a bit behind if you start now, but the good news for you is that just about everyone seems to be stuck on one puzzle, for which Thomas is releasing another hint in just a couple hours. So go try it!
